These terms explain how our website works and the basics of buying from Human Touch IT ("HTIT", "we", "us"). By using humantouchit.com or buying from us, you agree to them. We have kept them short and plain. If anything is unclear, just ask: [email protected] or +1 250-792-0190.

• Our articles, guides and tips are general information. They are not professional advice for your specific situation. Please talk to us, or another qualified professional, before making important decisions.
• Please do not copy our content to republish it, or try to disrupt or break into the site.
• Links to other websites are for your convenience. We are not responsible for their content.

• Every IT service (support, managed IT, Microsoft 365, cybersecurity, consulting, AI agents and chatbots, process automation) is quoted and agreed in writing before work starts. A simple email is enough.
• We never bill for anything you have not approved.
• Ongoing services (for example, managed IT) have their own service agreement, which takes priority over these terms if they differ.
• Our AI agents are built to support your team, not replace it. You stay in control of what they can access and do.

The Free IT Assessment costs nothing and carries no obligation. We review your setup and give you honest recommendations. What you do next is up to you.

• Our ebooks are PDF files, priced at CAD $5.99 each (plus applicable taxes).
• Payment is by Interac e-Transfer. After we receive payment, we email the PDF to you, normally the same business day.
• Ebooks are for your personal or internal business use. Please do not resell them or share them publicly.
• Refunds: because they are digital files, ebooks are non-refundable, except when the file is defective or we did not deliver it. In that case we will send a working copy or refund you in full.

• Marketing & AI session with Alice Souza: CAD $35 per hour.
• Ultra-technical session with André Onofre: CAD $120 per 40-minute session. It ends with a pilot designed for your business.
• Prices are in Canadian dollars, plus GST/PST where applicable.
• Sessions are prepaid when you book. We confirm your time and send a payment link by email.
• In-person sessions are available in the Comox Valley (Courtenay, Comox and Cumberland). Online sessions are available across Vancouver Island and beyond.
• Sessions are scheduled during our business hours: Tuesday to Friday, 10 AM to 7 PM PT. We are closed Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

Rescheduling and cancellations

• Need to change your time? Let us know at least 24 hours before and we will reschedule free of charge.
• With less than 24 hours' notice, or if you do not show up, the session may be charged in full.
• If we need to cancel, you choose a new time or a full refund.

We work carefully and stand behind our work. If something we did is not right, tell us and we will work to fix it.

To the extent the law allows:

• our total responsibility for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service or product involved;
• we are not responsible for indirect losses, such as lost profits, lost data or business interruption. That is why we always recommend keeping good backups, and we can help you set them up.

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under BC consumer protection law that cannot be waived.

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the applicable laws of Canada.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted on this page, with its effective date, is the one that applies.
